Brief

We supported the minority shareholders in a European company whose CEO/majority shareholder was accused of mismanaging it and obfuscating its financial information.

Approach

We engaged discreetly with former employees of the company and other members of the Board of Directors who shared our client’s concerns to ascertain what was happening inside the business. We further cross-referenced the human-source intelligence with public record research.

Findings

 We uncovered previous allegations of harassment and threatening behaviour by the CEO. 

Impact

The intelligence we provided was used by the client as part of the legal case they brought against the CEO.
